The herb fields are carefully tended and cared for according to organic guidelines, the plants are cut with a hand mower, gently dried with the help of solar energy and finally mixed and packaged by hand. Four-fifths of the harvested herbs are delivered to Ricola, but around one tonne per year is processed into tea blends under the "Echt Entlebuch" label and marketed via retailers and Coop.
