Sometimes the view is in the direction of the wild ditches and ravines of the Napf region. Sometimes it looks down into the lovely Entlebuch main valley, to roads and villages. And even further to the hills beyond and to the eternal snow of the Bernese Alps. Start at dawn, when the dew glistens, and enjoy the unique flora and fauna. Stop off at cozy inns far away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy fascinating views.
The Entlebuch Emmental High Trail is divided into several stages and runs entirely along the existing network of hiking trails. This means you can set off without any worries and according to your fitness level. The lowest point is at 731 meters above sea level, the highest at 1415 meters above sea level - so the route is also suitable in spring and autumn, when snow can still be expected at higher altitudes. Incidentally, the entire route is marked with high-altitude signposts.
