The second stage of the Entlebuch-Emmental high-level trail takes you from Obstaldenegg in Schüpfheim over the ridge to Turner in Escholzmatt. The fantastic views are always with you. You start the tour at the Obstaldenegg barbecue area and immediately enter a section of forest. Time and again you catch a glimpse of the surrounding beauty. For example, the pretty St. Joseph Chapel at Oberberg. At the Gmeinwärch, there is a vending machine with cold drinks and snacks if you feel like a first stopover. Enjoy the fantastic view towards the Emmental from the bench. Now you pass the municipal boundary and continue your hike on Escholzmatt soil. The trail descends gently until the next ascent to the Rotegg area. Here, sections of forest alternate with open terrain. Enjoy the peace and quiet on this hiking trail away from the crowds. You have reached your stage destination at Turner and can enjoy the wonderful view.
The third stage takes you across the "border" from Turner in Escholzmatt to Trubschachen.
