How to obtain an Entlebucher Geocoin:
To obtain an Entlebucher Geocoin, you must have found all eight caches in the "Entlebucher Geocoin #1 - #8" series and stamped the corresponding fields on the stamp card. Once you have stamped all the fields on this card, the geocoin can be purchased at a point of sale (Tourismusbüro Sörenberg, Tourism Office Escholzmatt or in Biosphere Centre) for CHF 5.00. If you are not near a sales point or it is closed, you can also simply send the completed stamp card together with CHF 5.00 to the following address: Biosphere Centre, Chlosterbüel 28, 6170 Schüpfheim. The geocoin will then be sent to you by post.

A short field report:
"What can I expect when I want to find a cache in the Entlebuch series?" We asked ourselves the same question, so we set off on a self-experiment. Equipped with a smartphone and a printed stamp map, we set off.
Navigation to the individual locations, where puzzles can be solved and information obtained, is easy. Using the GPS coordinates, you know exactly where to go. On site, you can obtain information by answering questions such as "How many screws are used to fasten this signpost?" or "Which two animals carved out of wood can you find here?". Beautiful viewpoints, interesting paths along meadows and forests and many cosy places that invite you to linger make the scavenger hunt a varied route with wonderful impressions. The combination of playfulness, a thirst for adventure and the urge to move almost makes you forget what beautiful surroundings you are in. It's high time to take a break and savour the nature and tranquillity around you. Once you have completed all the waypoints and collected all the necessary information, you will receive the exact GPS coordinates of where the cache is hidden.
On arrival at your destination, you set off in search of the cache. These can be hidden in very different forms - in the Entlebuch series, the caches are usually packed in a Tupperware tin. Et voilà - there's the treasure! Fished out from under the tree root, opened it, entered the name in the little logbook and, as a reward, picked up the stamp and proudly stamped one of eight Entlebuch geocaches. What can we expect from the remaining seven Entlebuch geocaches?
